Jiaxiu Square, located west of the West Lake Office on the banks of the Nanming River and next to Jiaxiu Tower, covers 16,500 square meters. Designed with the principles of " building a city based on the environment " and " putting people first, " the square features bronze sculptures depicting children's play, morning exercises, fishing, Tai Chi, and mother-child love, reflecting the peaceful and prosperous lives of the city's inhabitants.

The square is paved with 8,800 square meters of granite, 2,700 square meters of bluestone, 300 square meters of cobblestone fitness path, 4,700 square meters of lawn, 3,700 shrubs, 20,506 pots of seasonal flowers, and 235 precious trees, including two ginkgo trees that are over 300 years old .

The square's " Dry Land Color Fountain " features hundreds of musical tracks, allowing the fountain to " dance " to the beat . 420 lanterns with distinctive ethnic characteristics add a stunning nightscape to the square, including reed pipe lanterns, orchid lanterns , and flying goose lanterns, expressing the aspirations of the geese returning to the city to settle down after the Nanming River cleared after three years .
