Matsue City, Ehime Prefecture, is home to Dogo Onsen, known as the oldest hot spring in Japan.
The retro atmosphere of the town makes it a popular tourist destination!
The Dogo Onsen Main Building is an Important Cultural Property, and is also a building that symbolizes Dogo Onsen.
Dogo Onsen Station has a Meiji-era Western-style exterior and is very atmospheric.
It is also the terminus of the Botchan Train, which runs regularly!
It is close to the Botchan Karakuri Clock and Dogo Onsen Main Building, and is home to Enmanji Temple, which is popular on social media, and a shopping street, making it a very enjoyable stroll!
