The stairs to the shrine grounds are quite steep and there are quite a few steps. However, I would like you to go up there rather than just be satisfied with looking at it from below. You can enjoy a great location overlooking the Dogo townscape. You can also get a panoramic view of Matsuyama city and Dogo Onsen, and enjoy the nature of the four seasons.
