️ Airport Overview
• Location: It is located approximately 7km (3NM) southwest of the center of Matsuyama city. .
• Domestic and international flights: Domestic flights are operated to major cities such as Tokyo and Osaka, and international flights are operated to Seoul and Busan (7 times a week) and Taipei and Shanghai (2-3 times a week).
• Operational statistics: It is the busiest airport in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions with over 3.2 million passengers per year.

• 1F Arrival lobby: Baggage claim, Family Mart, Imabari towels & local specialties (Jatkoten), childcare, smoking room, etc. .
• 2F Departure lobby: Restaurants (CHEF’S KITCHEN, etc.), cafes, Thai-style and sushi specialty stores, duty-free shops, ANA/JAL shops, business lounges, etc. . • 3F facilities: Conference room, free observation deck where you can enjoy the distant Seto Inland Sea scenery under the warm sunlight.

1. Limousine bus (operated by Iyotetsu)
• Interval: Approximately every 20 minutes
• Major routes and fares:
• JR Matsuyama Station / Shieki (City Station): Adults 780 yen, Children 390 yen
• Also available for Okaido and Dogo Onsen (980 yen)   
• Time required: Approximately 20–30 minutes to the city center
2. Taxi
• Fare is approximately 2,000–2,500 yen
• Travel time is approximately 5–6 minutes
3. Rental car
• There is a rental car counter outside the airport on the 1st floor 
• Recommended if you want to travel around Matsuyama freely.
4. Private Pickup
• With the 24-hour reservation pick-up service, you can go directly from the airport entrance to your hotel.

🧭 Notes & Tips
• IC transportation card: Iyotetsu's smart card (IC e‑card) is valid until September 2025, and will be replaced by ICOCA or the Mikan app thereafter. .
• Cultural experience: The "Mikan Juice Event" is held on the 3rd floor of the airport every third Sunday, so if your schedule matches, it will be a pleasant experience.
• Internet information: Free Wi-Fi, multilingual tablet guidance, and a tourist information desk are available, making it convenient even for first-time visitors.
