Beh Leh Hainam Satay: Melaka's Savory Stick Sensation

This bustling spot proves satay doesn't need to be sweet to be sensational. Their version leans savory like Chinese BBQ sticks, with perfectly charred pork and chicken skewers that keep locals and tourists coming back.
We scored a table fast despite the crowd - the efficient turnover is impressive. At about RM1 per stick, you can afford to go wild (we demolished 30 between two people). The peanut sauce has a deeper, less sweet flavor than typical satay dips, letting the meat's marinade shine.
Don't miss their unique satay porridge - it turns this snack into a full meal. Service is no-nonsense but friendly once they see you're serious about eating.
Rating: 4.5/5 - A must-try for meat lovers seeking something different from usual satay.
Tip: Come before 7pm to avoid the post-dinner rush. Their pork belly skewers sell out fastest!
