🏨 Convenient, Comfortable, and Right in the Heart of Melaka

We stayed at Hatten Hotel Melaka during our recent family trip and found it to be one of the more practical and well-located options in town. What really stood out for us was the location—right between Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota Parade. Everything from shopping to sightseeing was within walking distance, including A Famosa and Jonker Street.

Our room was a Studio Suite, and it felt clean, spacious, and modern. Floor-to-ceiling windows gave us nice city views, and the separate bedroom/living area layout was useful for us as a family. It wasn’t overly luxurious, but it had everything we needed—comfy beds, fast Wi-Fi, and a decent bathroom.

The highlight for us was the infinity pool on the 12th floor. The kids loved it, and the view during sunset was pretty amazing. There’s also a gym and a spa, though we didn’t try the spa this time. We had breakfast included in our stay and ate at Chatterz—the buffet spread was pretty standard, with the usual mix of local and Western food. It got very crowded in the mornings, so I’d recommend going early.

Service was generally polite and efficient, though check-in took a little longer than expected because of the crowd. Elevators were also in high demand during peak hours, but manageable.

Overall, it’s a solid option if you want convenience, facilities, and decent comfort without breaking the bank. Not a boutique hotel, but great for families or anyone who wants to explore Melaka without needing to drive around too much. We’d stay again for sure.
