Christ Church Melaka

#malaccaguide

Christ Church is the shining star of Dutch Square, and trust me, she knows it. 💃 With her deep red walls, white cross, and charming Dutch-style architecture, she’s basically Malacca’s most photogenic diva. Built in the 18th century, it’s the oldest functioning Protestant church in Malaysia, and stepping inside feels peaceful and cool—perfect after wandering in the tropical sun. The wooden pews, the brass plaques, and the colorful stained glass give it such timeless beauty. Outside, the backdrop of Christ Church is THE place for those iconic Malacca photos (bonus points if you catch a decorated trishaw in the background!). I loved visiting in the late afternoon when the sunlight made the whole building glow even redder. It’s elegant, historic, and totally Instagram-worthy—a triple win for any girly traveler. 🌺
