Visitors can choose to take a Melaka River Cruise or walk along its banks, admiring ancient buildings, colorful mural-covered bridges, Malay villages, and natural scenery along the way. We arrived for a river cruise in the late afternoon, when the crowds had thinned out. The Melaka River is truly beautiful, with a row of restaurants and bars lining its banks. Dining and drinking here in the evening, with the gentle breeze and the river views as a backdrop, is truly relaxing.
