Its carved railings and painted buildings are home to numerous poems and paintings, with the landscapes, flowers, and plants depicted vividly. Lianjiang Academy's exquisite architecture holds both historical and cultural value and modern revolutionary significance. It was Mao Zedong's former residence in April 1929. That year, Mao Zedong wrote the famous "Xingguo County Land Law" here, sparking the wave of protests against local tyrants and the distribution of land.
