Melbourne's Iconic Railway Hub

An iconic structure in the heart of Melbourne， this is the busiest train station in Victoria， accommodating the entire metropolitan rail system， 15 tram routes to and from the city， and V/Line services to Gippsland. Opened in 1854 by the Melbourne and Hobson's Bay Railway Company， the station—though not the current building—is the oldest in Australia. Starting from 2025， the Flinders Street station complex will expand with the opening of the nearby Town Hall rapid transit station beneath Swanston Street， offering several new entrances in the area.
