Menyuan Rapeseed Flower Sea, located in Menyuan County, Qinghai, is one of the world's top ten flower seas. Spanning 500,000 acres, the rapeseed flowers bloom in full glory from early July to mid-August, transforming the landscape into a golden ocean.
From the viewing platform, you can take in the panoramic view of the flower sea and the snow-capped Gangshika Peak, a sight so beautiful it feels like a fairyland. Stroll along the walking paths and immerse yourself in the sea of flowers, surrounded by their sweet fragrance. Nearby farmhouses offer local delicacies like hand-grabbed mutton and yogurt.
Menyuan Rapeseed Flower Sea is not only a magnificent natural wonder but also a place rich in cultural charm. Due to time constraints, I couldn't frolic in the flower fields and had to settle for admiring the view from the platform—a bit of a regret. The golden rapeseed flowers, set against the green mountains, blue sky, and white clouds, create a scene straight out of a painting.
