📍Located in Xiguxi Mountain, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, it was invested and built by the Municipal Cultural Bureau in 1986. It is a garden that integrates cultural relics and natural scenery, hidden in the bustling city🌲.
The main attraction of the garden, Ziyun Pavilion, has long been famous due to the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi's "Inscription of a Humble Room," which mentions "Zhuge's Cottage in Nanyang, Ziyun Pavilion in Western Shu." The garden also houses the tomb of Jiang Wan, a famous minister of the Shu Han, and the Gonghou Temple. Other attractions include the reading platform and ink-washing pool of the Western Han scholar Yang Xiong, the Taoist holy site Xishan Temple, and the Jade Maiden Spring with Sui and Tang Dynasty Taoist statues. These cultural relics are protected and listed among the "Five Wonders of Mianyang," and are considered the best in China, including the largest bronze horse🐴 of the Han Dynasty, the largest money tree💰, the earliest bronze Buddha statue, the most vividly shaped singing and dancing figurines, and the most complete human meridian lacquer carving.
Strolling through the garden, every sight👀 is a scene. There is a large lawn on the mountain⛰️ where you can have a picnic or fly kites. There is a small amusement park halfway up the mountain, and you can go boating🚤 at the foot of the mountain. Taking photos in Hanfu here is absolutely perfect.
A mountain is famous not for its height but for its fairy; water is spiritual not for its depth but for its dragon. Xishan Scenic Area is the most valuable place to visit in Mianyang, with a profound heritage comparable to the cultural sites of Shudu. ✅Highly recommended for everyone to visit.
