Jintan Ancient Forest, also known as Taihe Mazhou, is located on the banks of the Ganjiang River in Tangzhou Town. Due to the long-term alluvial deposits of the river, many flat lawns and lush wetlands have been formed.

Jiangxi, historically known as the "Hometown of Camphorwood," preserves large areas of ancient camphor trees, including some rarely seen in China. Taihe's camphor trees are particularly striking, with the Mazhou ancient camphor forest in Taihe, Jiangxi, covering over 200 mu (approximately 800 acres) and dating back over 800 years. The camphor trees, each in a unique form, resemble graceful dancing maidens, mighty generals standing tall, and elderly men with canes, each showcasing its own unique charm.
