Introduction: Baba Tunnel Recreational Mine is located in Sanwan Township, Miaoli. Mr. Chen Guiwen and his family invested heavily and over a decade to preserve the early mining industry of his hometown, Nanzhuang. This recreational mining park features a live-action mine tour, a mining train, walking trails, a miner's office, and traditional educational demonstrations, allowing visitors to explore early mining culture and learn about the mining process.

Opening Hours: Weekdays 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Weekends 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Admission: NT$150

Tip: Few mining relics remain in Taiwan. Mining was once one of the most dangerous jobs. Here, you can learn about the blood and tears of miners and understand why the economic and energy boom of that time was possible. It's a testament to history and well worth visiting to learn about.
