Green Shade Park is located east of the intersection of Tianming Road and Dongfeng Road in Jinshui District. The park is filled with a variety of flowers and trees, including peach trees and white magnolias in spring, daylilies and hibiscus in summer, roses and hibiscus in autumn, and wintersweets and nandina domestica in winter.
This park, formerly Zhongzhou Paradise, was later converted into a public park. Birdsong and flowers bloom in the air. Many elderly people practice Henan opera and cha-cha dance here, children learn to ice skate, young people perform hip-hop dance, and even grandfathers practice Tai Chi and elderly women walk their dogs. It's a great place for Zhengzhou residents to relax, have fun, and unwind.
The temperate monsoon climate makes it suitable for travel in all four seasons.
There's a small lake, a small bridge, a pavilion, and a long corridor. There's also some fitness equipment, the kind you'd find in a residential area. Most people come here to sing opera or square dance. Sometimes children roller skate, and elderly people practice calligraphy on the ground with large brushes dipped in water. In the northwest corner of the park, there used to be a diabolo garden, where many people played with the diabolo.
