The Tarn River is a hidden gem, carving one of the most breathtaking gorges in France. Kayaking down the river was thrilling, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs that felt almost otherworldly. The water shimmered emerald-green, and villages perched on cliffsides seemed frozen in time. I stopped often just to admire the raw beauty. Hiking trails along the gorge provided bird’s-eye views that left me speechless.
