[Minami Awaji City, Awaji Island] ⛩️Let's pray to the most powerful god of matchmaking✨✨✨

As you pass through the torii gate, bow and say "Excuse me for bothering you."
Then, after purifying your hands at the water basin, it's time to climb the stone steps✨.
The main shrine, Onokorojima Shrine, welcomes us, unchanged from ancient times.
There's a sacred tree here, and if a coin lands on it, your prayers for a good marriage will come true. There were loads of coins! 💗
Also, behind the main shrine is Yaoyorozu Shrine, where many wishes are written on votive plaques✨✨✨
The red and white joint is called the Wagtail Stone, and it's said that when Izanagi and Izanami saw two wagtails making marriage vows, they designated this stone as a stone of marriage.

Come and visit Onokorojima Shrine, the venerable shrine of Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Izanami-no-Mikoto! ⛩️✨
