📍 Oshitoishi Hill, Kumamoto
A power spot in Aso that a friend living in Kyushu brought me to💫
The gently undulating "pyroclastic flow plateau" spreads out behind the caldera
It was created by pyroclastic flows from the Aso volcano, which erupted four times between 270,000 and 90,000 years ago🪨"Oshitoishi Hill" is a group of rocks of various sizes, the largest of which is a pyramid-shaped giant rock measuring 5.5 meters in height and 15.3 meters in circumference! According to legend, this is the rock where demons used to play with ishinago (beanbags) on this mountain every night, and it is believed to be an ancient ruin due to the arrangement of the stones, which seems to be man-made. 🪨 The large rock has a mirror stone with Sumerian characters from about 4,000 years ago written on it, and an Oshido stone that emits mysterious magnetism. 😊 A power spot with a 360-degree spectacular view. 😘
It's about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot to the top of the hill. 🚶♀️ Add some excitement to your daily life: 🌙
