The maple tunnel is lined with maple trees, turning red, orange, and yellow, covering the canal water like a carpet. It's a highlight of a visit to Lake Kawaguchiko.

Even at night, the maple leaves are illuminated, creating a stunning contrast. I recommend visiting at night for a different kind of nighttime experience, especially with fewer people.

🚘 Getting There
It's easily accessible from Tokyo. Take the train to Kawaguchiko Station, then take the Red Retro Bus and get off at the Itchiku Kubota Art Museum stop. It's a short walk from there.
