Nestled in the lush greenery of Fuzhou's western suburbs, Liyu Island Hotel is a hidden paradise. Spanning 1,800 acres, this scenic retreat unfolds like a painting, with the gentle Min River flowing around it. Every breath here is nature's gift. Strolling by the lake or encountering woodland creatures - it's pure bliss!
Open the door to European luxury. The Qinyuan building features high-ceiling rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the poetic Min River. Each building tells its own story, with Guiyuan offering spacious accommodations where dreams begin.
From fresh morning delights to sweet evening treats, dining at Liyu Island is a culinary journey crafted by master chefs. The butler service weaves warmth into every detail, from perfectly tempered water to well-timed greetings.
A crystal-clear pool washes away urban stress, offering more than just a swimmer's paradise. Whether cycling around the island or engaging in a game of billiards, every moment at Liyu Island holds its own small happiness.
Take time to enjoy this 1,800-acre natural oxygen bar and encounter summer serenity by the pool!
Liyu Island Hotel is like a national forest. You can jog around the lake, walk on the harbor island, bird-watch in the forest, or enjoy leisurely fishing by the lake. While doing so, you might unexpectedly encounter wildlife like white eagles, golden pheasants, egrets, muntjacs, and squirrels playing freely. There are also three traditional Fujianese-style residences - Chaicheng Houses, built around the 1930s. They feature front and back halls, with side rooms flanking the front hall, while the back hall houses kitchens, dining rooms, or firewood storage. Step inside, and you'll find a verdant bamboo forest behind, exuding zen tranquility. The hotel comprises five buildings along the Min River: Guiyuan, Heyuan, Qinyuan, Yueyuan, and the main building. Each structure seems to grow naturally from the environment. With only 143 rooms across such vast grounds, it offers unparalleled serenity and privacy. While in Fuzhou, you must try Min cuisine, one of China's eight major culinary traditions. Thanks to the spring-like climate year-round, various delicacies from mountains and seas abound. Local specialties like farm-style scrambled eggs with swallow are both classic and popular.
