🇯🇵A must-try in Osaka! A legendary soba noodle shop hidden in a century-old long house🥢 📍 しのぶ安

#OsakaFoodGuide
Promise me to lock in this restaurant before leaving Osaka! Hidden near Showa-cho Station, "しのぶ安" is located in the only long house in Japan that is listed as a national tangible cultural property. Just pushing the door is like traveling into a Japanese drama scene🎬~

The sense of ritual of soba noodles in a century-old long house

The menu is dizzying! Osaka specialty soba noodles must be ordered, which can be bought for around 1,000 yen. The key is that there are almost no tourists, and all locals come to eat~ Recently, it was cold and I made an appointment with my sister for a limited Japanese Xiabu Xiabu (be sure to make an appointment in advance!), the menu has Omi beef hot pot, premium Kawachi duck hot pot, chicken hot pot and other options. As a beef lover, of course I chose Omi beef~

The soup base is so sweet that it makes your eyebrows drop, and it is paired with fresh vegetables that are cooked thoroughly. The cabbage is soft and tender after absorbing the soup🥬! The Omi beef is tender and the fat distribution is just right. Two people can easily finish the whole plate🥩~ Finally, the soba noodles are used to finish it. After a few seconds of immersion in the soup, it becomes chewy and smooth, and it is super satisfying to absorb the essence of the pot bottom🍜!

Showa time in the kotatsu

When eating, cover yourself with a traditional kotatsu, the hot pot is fragrant, and the window of the wooden long house shines in the sun. It's like walking into the scene of "Midnight Diner"🆘! The store still retains the furnishings of the Showa period, with old photos hanging on the wall. You can also hear the owner's grandfather telling stories about the long house while eating~
