When you think of Tohoku in April, you might think that the snow has come to an end, it's still too early for cherry blossoms, and there aren't many tourist spots.
However, Aomori in April is also full of charm,
and I was able to enjoy it for two full days,
so I'll introduce the first day today💁♀️
15:00 Aomori Airport
First, I arrived at Aomori Airport in the afternoon.
I took a bus from the airport to the city center🚌
15:30 Nebuta House Wa Rasse
The house is decorated with portable shrines that have been used in the Nebuta Festival in the past.
You can enjoy small-scale exhibits in the free space as well as the paid space.
16:00 A-FACTORY
A souvenir spot opposite Wa Rasse. There are so many kinds of souvenirs that you could find all of Aomori's souvenirs here🍎
There is also a space inside where you can sample cider, and at the time, you could enjoy up to eight types of cider!
17:30 Depart for Misawa Station
Take the local Aoimori Railway to Misawa Station 🚃
There are very few trains, so be careful about the time!
Watching the sunset, we were rocked on the train and arrived in about an hour.
18:30 Arrive at Misawa Station - Takara Sushi Main Branch
First, we went to a highly rated local sushi restaurant for dinner!
The portions were very large, and everything was fresh and delicious! 🍣
And yet, it was so cheap that it's unthinkable in Tokyo. I hope you enjoy seafood in Aomori!
20:00 Hoshino Resorts Aomori-ya
After a leisurely meal, we headed to the hotel.
Hoshino Resorts Aomori-ya not only offers accommodation, but also has a wide variety of events, so I feel like I could have enjoyed it even if I had arrived earlier.
I was able to participate in a show at the Michinoku Matsuri-ya starting at 9pm, so after enjoying that, I took a walk around the grounds.
I was able to spend a wonderful time admiring the elaborate interior decorations☺️
First, let me introduce the first day. In part 2, I will introduce spots unique to this season, such as the Snow Corridor, so please take a look💁♀️
