[Shizuoka Prefecture/Mishima Taisha Shrine] Izu's No. 1 power spot

This highly prestigious shrine is the Ichinomiya of Izu Province.
It boasts the highest number of visitors in Shizuoka Prefecture, and the grounds are quite large.
It is also known as the shrine where Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed for the revival of the Genji clan.
Within the grounds, there is a stone bench where Minamoto no Yoritomo and Masako are said to have rested during their 100-day daily visit.

After entering the grounds and walking a short distance, you will see Itsukushima Shrine and the sacred pond on your left.
The red bridge and shrine building stand out against the green scenery, making it a popular spot.
It is also a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in spring, so I would like to visit in spring next time.
