The Ghibli Museum felt like walking into a Hayao Miyazaki film—charming, nostalgic, and full of wonder. From the spiral staircases to the stained glass windows, every detail was magical. Original sketches, animation rooms, and behind-the-scenes displays gave a beautiful glimpse into Studio Ghibli’s creative world. The life-sized Catbus and rooftop robot were childhood dreams come true.

The museum café and gift shop were delightful too. It’s small but packed with heart. If you love Ghibli, this is a must-visit slice of animated enchantment tucked away in Mitaka.
