A garden adjacent to Daihi-san Howain Keiganji Temple
It is said that Tokugawa Mitsukuni loved the temple garden so much that he named it "Howaen."

Nowadays, in early summer, about 6,000 plants of about 100 species bloom and compete with each other.

Hydrangeas float on Myojogaike Pond, making it a great spot for taking photos with the fountain.

It's a "pond-center strolling garden" that you can walk around in a circle, so it's recommended to enjoy it while taking a leisurely stroll.

A photo contest and collaborative sweets were also held.
