Miyakojima Hotel: the rescape Resort Hotel

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary on Miyakojima, and for one night, we stayed at the luxurious the rescape hotel. Located on the east coast of Miyakojima, this hotel is operated by the same company that runs Naha's Hotel Strata and Anteroom.

When we stayed at Hotel Strata, we loved its style, so when we decided on a trip to Miyakojima, we thought, "Let's splurge for one night!" While researching resort hotels, I came across the website for the rescape and immediately recognized it as part of the same group. It was exactly the kind of hotel I love! 🫶

The price was quite high, so our expectations were soaring as we arrived. After navigating a rugged path, we finally reached the hotel!

The room came with a private pool, two sinks, two toilets, and a living room with a relaxation bedroom. It was incredibly spacious, with a beautiful natural design. 💓 Just a short walk away was a private beach 🏖️, and the convenience of heading there empty-handed was a big plus!

If you're lucky, you might even spot sea turtles. During our morning breakfast, we were fortunate enough to see one come up for air. 🐢✨

The front desk also offers fun activities like making bath salts and aromatic bath bombs. Initially, we had booked a Sweet Villa, but while waiting for check-in, we were offered an upgrade. My husband decided to go for the Premium Sweet Villa instead.

I was a bit concerned about the cost, but he reassured me, saying, "This is my gift to you." It was such a thoughtful gesture. 😊😊😊

My husband was absolutely delighted with the stay, saying he wanted to come back again. He rarely says that unless he's truly satisfied, so hearing that made me really happy too. I'm glad I chose this place! ✨
