One of Japan's three most famous views - Amanohashidate, a bridge across the sea and sky

One of Japan's three most famous scenic spots, Amanohashidate, is a shining pearl in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture. This narrow sandbar located on Miyazu Bay is like a bridge across the sea and sky, truly interpreting the artistic conception of "sky bridge". This place combines the magnificence of nature and the depth of culture, and is a must-see attraction for every traveler. A day trip to Amanohashidate, Japan is perfect!

Amanohashidate is about 3.6 kilometers long, with a sandbar surrounded by the sea on both sides and more than 8,000 pine trees growing in the center, like a green carpet spread on the blue waves. The pine trees are evergreen all year round, and the surrounding scenery changes with the seasons: in spring, cherry blossoms dot the sky, which is extremely romantic; in summer, the sun shines on the beach, and the sea water is crystal clear; in autumn, the distant mountains are painted with red leaves; in winter, the pine forest is covered with white snow, like a fairyland.
You can choose to take a leisurely stroll along the pinewood avenue, or ride a bicycle and feel the fresh sea breeze. The scenery along the way is refreshing.
If you want to see the view of Amanohashidate from a high place, there are two main places, one is looking north from the south (Amanohashidate View Land), and the other is looking south from the north (Kasamatsu Park). It would be a bit rushed to visit both points in one day, but I think it is no problem.

The weather was not very good when we arrived that day, which was a pity
However, the weather in the mountains is unpredictable. If you want to take more beautiful photos, it is recommended to come in summer.
