Ine Town, a beautiful fishing village facing the Sea of Japan in northern Kyoto Prefecture, has a unique landscape that has been called the Venice of Japan. • On a large pleasure boat (1,200 yen), many seagulls will approach you. If you prepare food (such as shrimp crackers) in advance, you can feed them directly from your hand, which is sure to excite both children and adults! It also makes for great photos.
• There are also small private boats (1,000 yen)**, but they are a bit rocky, so people who tend to get seasick should be careful.
