
The Pearl of the Bamboo Sea, formerly known as the Main Peak of Meiling Mountain, lies in the heart of the Meiling Scenic Area. It encompasses more than a dozen peaks, including Hualao Ridge, Shijian Peak, Jinji Peak, Wulao Peak, and Yang Peak. The main peak, Hualao Ridge, rises over 800 meters above sea level. Here, mountains and slopes intertwine, covered in lush bamboo and verdant greenery, and the magnificent bamboo forest stretches as far as the eye can see.
In the scenic area, strange rocks such as the Divine Turtle Stone, Elephant King Stone, Golden Rooster Stone, and Immortal Seat, which were sculpted by the magical power of nature, are scattered among the pine and bamboo forests. Bamboo, streams, and stones are arranged alternately, with bamboo growing among the stones, stones in the bamboo sea, and waterfalls on the stones, forming a unique scene. It is known as the " Pearl of the Bamboo Sea " of Meiling in Xishan .
In the Pearl of the Bamboo Sea scenic area, wandering among the mountains, lush bamboo, mountain stream plank roads, small bridges and flowing water houses is like being in a paradise. There are also newly built attractions such as the colorful cascading springs and the fish-shaped covered bridge, as well as popular entertainment attractions such as the bamboo mountain cable car.

Meiling Bamboo Sea Pearl is a scenic area renowned for its vast bamboo forests and ecological value. It serves as a cultural and natural landmark in Nanchang, highlighting bamboo's role in local heritage and sustainable tourism.
Located in Meiling, Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Visitors can reach the area by taxi, ride-hailing services, or regional buses. Walking paths within the park provide easy access to major viewpoints.
Open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for visiting, with mild weather and lush bamboo scenery.
Entrance fee is typically around ¥40–¥60 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance or via local tourism apps for convenience.
Booking in advance is optional but recommended during weekends or holidays. One day in advance is sufficient.
Plan 3–4 hours to enjoy walking trails, viewpoints, and optional activities such as bamboo rafting.
