Amanohashidate is a 3.6km long sandbar that separates Miyazu Bay and Aso Sea, and is one of the Three Most Scenic Spots of Japan. It was named Amanohashidate because it looks like a bridge in the sky.
It is famous for its view from between the legs, where the sky and the earth are upside down, and it is called the "Flying Dragon View" because it looks like a dragon is flying up into the sky.
