New Fish Maw Thick Soup Chicken Noodle Shop with Great Value in Mong Kok

This time I want to introduce a noodle shop called "Chu Hui Thick Soup Chicken" on Fa Fu Street in Mong Kok. I heard it has been open for more than half a year. There is a step at the entrance of this restaurant, so wheelchair users need to bring their own ramp to enter!

1. Fish Maw Thick Soup Chicken Pot with Rice Noodles $75 + Iced Lemon Tea $8 (9.5/10)
I didn’t expect there to be so much fish maw in this fish maw thick soup chicken pot. There are 5 pieces of fish maw, each cut thickly. There are also 6 pieces of chicken, and the chicken meat is very tender and smooth, not a bit tough or sticky. Other ingredients include red dates, baby bok choy, wood ear mushrooms, and other mushrooms. I chose rice noodles, which also contain bean sprouts, tofu skin, and chives. The portion is super generous, and the rice noodles soak up all the rich chicken soup broth. It’s absolutely amazing!
For the drink, I added $8 and chose iced lemon tea. This iced lemon tea has 4 slices of lemon, with a strong tea flavor, which is not quite to my taste!

2. Pepper Pork Tripe Chicken Pot $62 with Rice Vermicelli $75 + Iced Milk Tea $8 (9.5/10)
If the pepper flavor in this pepper pork tripe chicken pot was a bit stronger, it would taste even better. The portion is also large, with 6 pieces of pork tripe, 4 pieces of slightly fibrous white radish, 8 pieces of very tender chicken, red dates, wood ear mushrooms, and other mushrooms. I chose rice vermicelli, which also contains bean sprouts, tofu skin, and chives. The rice vermicelli soaks up the pepper pork tripe soup base, which is pretty good!
For the drink, I added $8 and chose iced milk tea. This iced milk tea is very fragrant and smooth!

3. Nostalgic Shrimp Toast $22 (8.5/10)
This nostalgic shrimp toast must be ordered at least two pieces, $11 each. Before biting, you can already see a whole shrimp fried on top of the toast. However, it feels a bit oily when eating, but it’s fried very crispy. It would taste even better if it were less greasy!
