Tempura Makino Namba Review

Tempura Makino Namba is a must-visit tempura restaurant that's currently very popular. There's usually a long line, but the wait isn't too long. The seating is bar-style, allowing you to watch the staff fry tempura fresh and serve it in an omakase-style experience. The staff carefully fry each item and serve it directly to your table. The restaurant offers set meals, rice bowls, or you can order items individually. I ordered a set with three shrimp and vegetables. The shrimp were crispy, bouncy, and delicious without being greasy. The onion was served in a large piece, which might feel a bit heavy if you eat too much. A must-try is the tempura egg, which is rich and flavorful, especially when paired with the recommended sauce and rice. To balance the richness, I also ordered a generous portion of clam soup, which was delicious and satisfying. Overall, it was worth it, and I almost couldn't finish everything.
