It is true!! Italy's Cinque Terre is like a palette spilled by God 🎨, so beautiful it leaves you speechless! Every corner looks like a carefully painted oil painting, definitely a dream destination you must visit in your lifetime 🌟!
🌈 Must-visit highlights of Cinque Terre
· Manarola: This is the postcard representative of Cinque Terre 📮! At sunset, the twinkling lights illuminate the entire cliff, known as the "most beautiful sunset in the world" 🌅. The colorful houses are built on the hillside, blending with the sparkling blue sea under the sunlight, as beautiful as a postcard. The romantic secret behind the bright colors of the houses is that fishermen painted them in different colors so they could spot their homes from afar when returning from sea.
· Riomaggiore: The most populous village in Cinque Terre, small fishing boats are seen everywhere, creating a rustic fishing village atmosphere. It’s recommended to visit in the morning, where you can take iconic panoramic photos from the church platform or the higher parking lot platform 📸. The sea water is as clear as a gem, with colorful boats floating on it, seemingly suspended in the air.
· The Lover’s Lane: A romantic trail connecting Riomaggiore and Manarola 💖, less than 1 kilometer long, it’s the signature of Cinque Terre. Along the way, there are love locks and graffiti walls from couples, and at the end of the corridor is the famous silhouette sculpture of lovers kissing, perfect for photos!
· Vernazza: Considered by many as the essence of Cinque Terre. The village’s stone paths and buildings retain a medieval style, and the harbor is filled with small fishing boats with masts. Sitting in the small square facing the harbor, basking in the sun and looking at the terraced hills in the distance, this scene can make time stand still.
· Monterosso al Mare: The only village in Cinque Terre with a beach 🏖️. Here you’ll find colorful umbrellas, sunbathers, and bright bikinis. Although the sand is not very fine, the unparalleled blue of the Mediterranean Sea is irresistible. The village has complete tourist facilities and is more commercialized.
💫 Travel tips
· Transportation: You can take a small train between villages, running every half hour, with only a few minutes between stations. You can also choose to hike; the coastal trail is about 10 kilometers long.
· Accommodation: Accommodation in Cinque Terre is limited and slightly expensive; you can choose to stay in La Spezia, only a 15-minute train ride from Cinque Terre.
· Time planning: If time is limited, choose 2-3 villages to focus on; if you have plenty of time, savor each one carefully.
In short, the beauty of Cinque Terre is the kind that can be etched deep into your memory ✨, every snap is like a masterpiece, every glance worth cherishing! Quickly tag your friends and plan a spontaneous colorful trip~ 💃
