Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel

Located in Moriyama, Shiga Prefecture, this hotel is part of the Marriott chain. It is situated in a picturesque location near the eastern end of the Lake Biwa Bridge, along the lakeside road.
Although the building is not new, the interior has been renovated and is clean and comfortable. The rooms are available in both Western and Japanese styles, and from the lake view rooms, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Biwa and the mountains on the opposite shore.
The hotel has a gymnasium and a planetarium, making it popular with families. There is also a large public bath adjacent to the gymnasium, but it is small and crowded.
The breakfast venue is located on the top floor, the 12th floor, offering a great view and a refreshing start to the day. Both Western and Japanese breakfast options are available.
