The Langzhong White Pagoda is located on Heming Mountain on the west bank of the Jialing River in Nanchong County, facing Nanchong City across the river. It was built in the late Ming Dynasty.

"The Morning Bell of the White Pagoda" is one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Nanchong. "Heming Mountain is located on the bank of the Jialing River, one mile east of Zhi (present-day Nanchong City), and is connected to Dayun Mountain. On the mountain is the White Pagoda Temple. Beside the White Pagoda, the six characters "Long Longevity Pagoda" are inscribed on the wall. It is one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Nanchong City."

The White Pagoda has thirteen floors and is twenty-nine meters high, with twelve outer floors and six inner floors. There is a spiral staircase with ninety-one steps for people to climb up and look out the windows, so that they can view the scenery of Langzhong from different angles.
