Red Square is the heart of Russia. It's home to St. Basil's Cathedral, built by order of Ivan the Terrible, the Spasskaya Tower, the Historical Museum, Kazan Cathedral, the monument to Minin and Pozharsky, the execution site, and Lenin's Mausoleum.
Three reasons to visit:
❤️ Historical significance – it's a living monument reflecting key events in Russian history.
❤️ Architectural features – iconic monuments listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites are concentrated here.
❤️ Event venue – concerts, parades, and holiday fairs are held here.
And for shopping – head to GUM! 🛍️🛒
Patriarch's Ponds are a special world in the heart of bustling Moscow, where time slows down and every corner is imbued with a unique, literary, and mystical atmosphere. 🤍
Three reasons to visit:
🔵 Historical and cultural value. Incidentally, there were originally three ponds here, created for domestic purposes. However, only one survives to this day.
🔵 Literary history: This is where Mikhail Bulgakov's novel "The Master and Margarita" begins.
🔵 Architectural heritage: mansions from the late 19th and early 20th centuries have been preserved.
For me, this place evokes memories of "The Master and Margarita," one of my favorites! Therefore, I dearly love it and always recommend it to anyone visiting Moscow. 💎
