Bise Fukugi is a hidden spot about 15 minutes walk from Churaumi Aquarium, the most famous aquarium in central Okinawa.
In recent years, Okinawa, the winter of España, has become increasingly popular as a tourist destination. As it is a village surrounded by ancient trees and dense forests, it is full of mystery.
The Fukugi trees are connected over a total length of about 3 kilometers, and you can see various landscapes winding like a maze, which is even more charming.
Bise Fukugi was created during the Ryukyu Kingdom era to protect the village from typhoons.
Fukui is a tree that is resistant to strong winds and salt and is often used as a windbreak in coastal villages in Okinawa.
The trees have become more and more dense, creating the current appearance, and there are paths leading directly to the sea in various places, so you can come out to Sesaki Beach at any time.
It is also a good idea to rent a bicycle and explore every corner of Bise Fukugi Street.
