Bise Village is an old-style Okinawan village known for its Fukugi Tree-lined paths as natural windbreaks. You can explore the village on foot or rent a bicycle to cruise through the paths. There are guides provided on where are the photo spots too!
One of the unexpected highlights in the village was encountering a friendly local cat that casually greeted passersby and happily accepted gentle pats. Visitors can also feed the cat by purchasing food available for a small fee.
Right next to Bise Village lies Emerald Beach, truly living up to its name with brilliant emerald-blue waters that sparkle under the sunlight. It’s the perfect place to spend a relaxing half day—simply soaking in the serene atmosphere while listening to the gentle rhythm of the waves.
—> Food & Restaurants
While strolling along the village, you’ll be able to see quite a handful of restaurant and snack bars from traditional Okinawan dishes to casual beachside snacks.
—> Getting There
Unlike Okinawa’s central urban areas, the location is not easily accessible by regular public transport. Car rental are recommended. Parking spaces are available for a fee. No entrance fee! Lastly, it’s a 5-10 minute drive to Churaumi Aquarium 🐠🐟🐡
