Enjoy a scenic bike ride by the sea and through tree tunnels
Bise Village, surrounded by Fukugi trees, offers bicycle rentals for a breezy ride along its shady and spacious tree-lined roads. You might even be greeted by friendly cats along the way!
For those renting a car and venturing outside the city, we highly recommend stopping by for a cycling experience here. Ride along the beachside paths, where the sunlight reflects beautifully off the ocean waves 🌞🌊✨. Along the route, you'll find small local restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops (though they tend to close early), so it's best to visit in the morning or afternoon.
📷 There are plenty of photo spots to explore. Feel free to stop and snap pictures wherever you find something interesting during your ride.
Notably, Bise Village is less than 10 minutes away from the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. You can choose to cycle first or visit the whale sharks 🐋 at the aquarium before heading to the village, as they are very close to each other.
Available rental options:
- Standard bicycles
- Electric bicycles
- Scooters
*Prices vary*
We opted for an electric bicycle for a more effortless and comfortable ride. They also provide a map of the cycling routes 🗺️📍.
Important tips:
- The sun can be very strong, so don't forget to apply sunscreen.
- There are many mosquitoes due to the abundance of trees, so bring insect repellent.
- If it rains before your visit or on the day you arrive, the paths in Bise Village can get muddy as they are not entirely smooth. Be cautious to avoid getting your clothes dirty.
