[How to get there]
🚗Self-driving: Currently, people can take the Zhamo Highway to enter Medog, but the highway is not allowed to pass after 8 pm, and Medog implements a single exit and double entry policy, for example, No. 1 can only exit, and No. 2 can only enter.
🚌Shuttle bus: Currently there is only one bus from Linzhi to Medog, which can be taken at Linzhi Bayi Town (departs at 8 am)
⚠Note: ✔You need a border pass to enter Medog, and you also need a mainland China ID card, otherwise you cannot enter

【About Medog】
Medog means "flower" in Tibetan. It is a county under the jurisdiction of Linzhi City, Tibet Autonomous Region, and is also the only county in China that is isolated on the southern slope of the Himalayas. There was a time when an entrance fee was required to enter here, but from March 16, 2023, Medog announced the cancellation of entrance fees.
