Lake Motosu, where the 1,000 yen bill is located!

This is Lake Motosu. It is one of the Fuji Five Lakes and is the location that is featured on the back of the 1,000 yen bill. (The 1,000 yen bill features Hideyo Noguchi.)

It is actually located beyond Nakanokura Pass, about a 30-minute walk from Lake Motosu. On this day, Mt. Fuji was covered in clouds, but the view was very good and there were not many people around, so we were able to enjoy the view relatively freely.
