First Mountain Viewing Spot: Kawaguchiko Oishi Park

Getting There: Approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Shinjuku. Oishi Park is filled with a variety of flowers and plants, and in the summer, it's a vibrant green. Nearby are numerous shops selling souvenirs, produce, cafes, and restaurants. For those interested, take a 6-minute taxi ride to the Kawaguchiko Museum of Art. Entrance fee: ¥500.

Second Mountain Viewing Spot: Lake Yamanakako

Getting There: A 30-minute drive from Oishi Park. Bicycle rentals are available at numerous shops along the lake for ¥700 per hour. Enjoy a unique and beautiful view while circling the lake. You can also enjoy water activities like boating and speedboating. If you have time, stay overnight. There are numerous hotels and stylish cafes nearby.

Third Mountain Viewing Spot: Arakurayama Sengen Park
Access: 30-minute drive from Lake Yamanaka. Climb the 308 steps to view Mount Fuji from the summit, passing torii gates and shrines along the way. At the foot of the mountain, Shimoyoshida Station offers a fun Thomas train ride.
