Explore the misty Sanqing Mountain, the most beautiful mountain in Jiangnan

Visiting the famous Taoist mountain #Sanqingshan was also the highlight of this trip to Jiangxi. Sanqing Mountain is located in Jiangxi Province. It is the collective name of the three peaks of Yujing, Yuhua and Yuxu. It is named because the three peaks are steep and towering, like the Three Pure Ones sitting and lying on the top. It is known as the first fairy peak in Jiangnan.

In order to facilitate entry and exit of Sanqing Mountain, we chose to stay at the Hilton Hotel at the entrance of the scenic area and embarked on a two-day hiking route in Sanqing Mountain. Fortunately, the weather was good in the morning, so I could see the beauty of this fairy mountain in the fog.

On the first day, we took the cable car from the Jinsha Visitor Center up the mountain, passing the Giant Python Coming Out of the Mountain, Yitiantian, Yutai and Sunshine Coast scenic areas.

On the second day, we watched the sunrise from Yutai in Nanqing Garden, then went to the West Coast Scenic Area and Sanqing Blessed Land. After returning to Nanqing Garden Scenic Area, we went down the mountain from Waishuangxi Cableway.

There are two high mountain plank roads surrounding Sanqing Mountain, one is the Sunshine Coast and the other is the West Coast. The plank roads built on cliffs have superb scenery and you can enjoy the strange peaks and rocks along the way. The landform is somewhat similar to that of Huangshan, but the stepped plank roads are much easier to walk than those of Huangshan.

Because of its towering terrain, Sanqing Mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round. If you want to see the true appearance of this fairy mountain and blessed land, you have to try your luck and pray for good weather. Our trip was a great explosion of luck. We encountered sunshine, sea of ​​clouds and fog, and light rain in the afternoon. We were able to explore the entire landscape of Sanqing Mountain in one go! It was really worth the trip.
