Georgia 🇬🇪 A Journey Through Mountains and Timeless Charm

My 10-day trip through Georgia was nothing short of spectacular. A perfect blend of culture, nature, and warm hospitality. The journey began in Tbilisi, exploring the Old Town, its charming balconies, ancient churches, and local markets that reveal the city’s unique soul.

From there, the road to Kazbegi was filled with breathtaking stops, Mtskheta, Jvari Monastery, Zhinvali Reservoir, and Ananuri Fortress. Two nights in Kazbegi offered pure alpine serenity, with visits to Sno Valley, Juta Valley, and Chaukhi Pass surrounded by the mighty Mount Kazbek.

The route continued toward Kutaisi and Mestia, with a scenic stop at Martvili Canyon. Ushguli Village and Mestia Viewpoint were true highlights. A remote, authentic, and framed by snow-capped peaks. The trip then led to Batumi, where the contrast of the Black Sea coast and modern city life felt refreshingly vibrant.

Returning to Tbilisi by train offered a slower pace to reflect on the journey, ending perfectly with a relaxing soak at the Sulphur Baths.

Georgia exceeded expectations, every region carried its own beauty, yet all shared the same warmth and authenticity.

Tips for Travelers:
1. The drives are long, but every turn rewards you with stunning scenery.
2. Kazbegi and Mestia are unmissable for mountain lovers.
3. Balance busy city days with quiet nature escapes.
4. Don’t miss the Sulphur Baths in Tbilisi, the best way to unwind after the road trips.
5. Travel slow! Georgia reveals its beauty to those who take their time.
