🙏🏼 A famous temple in Singburi with a large reclining Buddha or Buddha statue.
Before going to worship the real one in the temple, the temple will have you light incense, apply gold leaf, and bring flowers to offer to the replica of the reclining Buddha in front.
Walking inside, the real reclining Buddha is inside the temple, which has a beautiful Sukhothai-style Buddha image. It is very large and 42 meters long.
It was built in the Ayutthaya period, but there is no clear evidence of its history.
Inside the temple, there are many sacred objects for you to worship and ask for blessings, such as a large statue of Luang Pho To and the Bodhisattva Guan Yin.
In front of the temple, there are many sala trees. The people of Singburi believe that when you go to worship at Wat Phra Non Chaksi Worawihan and pray and clap your hands under the large Ceylon sala trees, which are planted in the temple area, more than 100 trees, if the sala flowers fall down, your prayer will be fulfilled.
