Another masterpiece of Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai which belong to the world heritage site. The entrance fee for foreigners is 700 INR. There are many separate categories and sections in this wonderful building. What impressed me the most is the collection of Buddhism with artefacts from Nepal, Tibet and India. The most exhibition rooms don’t have AC, so be prepared and patient together with local visitors.
The museum is impressively vast and well-maintained. We spent about three hours and still covered only half the exhibits — there’s plenty to explore for curious minds.

My daughter particularly enjoyed the audio guide, which was a fantastic way to keep her engaged as we walked through the vast halls. It definitely helped in making the history and art more accessible for her.

However, the Children’s Museum was a letdown. There wasn’t much to explore, and the amphitheatre was non-functional, which added to the disappointment for a kid-centric section.

We took a break at the museum café, which served good food, but order prep was slow, and seating was limited and already full, making the wait a bit tiring.

Overall, it’s a great place to explore history and culture, but families with young kids may want to manage expectations around the children's section.
