First Sight of Oman, Climbing Mutrah Fort to See the Famous S Bay

At first glance in Oman, I caught a stunning sunset in Muscat. The warm golden light dyed the Arabian Sea into flowing amber, and even the wind carried the gentle scent of dates and sea salt.

🌅 Mutrah Fort — A Sunset Viewing Platform That Touches Time
This 16th-century Portuguese fort is hidden on a cliff. Climbing the stone steps, you can feel the time-worn ochre stone walls. Locals dressed in white robes look like NPCs, making you feel as if you've stepped into the past.
📷 At the top, on the left are the layered old alleys of Mutrah, with colorful doors and windows shimmering faintly in the sunset; on the right is the famous S Bay, with a winding road stretching along the coastline into the distance. Cruise ships and small boats are embedded together in a golden frame on the sea.
✍️ It’s recommended to arrive half an hour early, sit on the fort’s cannon platform, and watch the sun slowly sink into the sea. The light changes from dazzling gold to gentle pink, and finally the sky turns a faint purple. Every photo you take with your phone looks cinematic 🎬
