Jinxiu Valley, located in Lushan Mountain, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is formed by the confluence of Dalin Peak and Tianchi Mountain. Due to Quaternary glacial activity, Jinxiu Valley, a southwest-facing mountain depression, was repeatedly carved by glaciers, forming a flat-bottomed, steep-sided valley. "In spring, a myriad of flowers bloom brilliantly, while in early winter, lush green, adorned with crimson maples, creates a scene of exquisite beauty." The vibrant colors of crimson and purple blanket the ground year-round, giving rise to the name Jinxiu.
Walking along the stone steps built along the cliffs of Jinxiu Valley, you can describe it as "the road winds along the pine trees, breaking through the clouds and mist. The wind blows through the clothes, making you feel light and ethereal." The valley is filled with thousands of rocks competing for beauty, and countless ravines are winding. The cliffs are naturally formed, the stone forests stand tall and majestic, and the steep cliffs and peaks are like the roar of a lion, the leap of a tiger, the climbing of a swift monkey, and the sitting of an immortal. The scenery along the way is like a splendid painting, intoxicating.
The subtropical monsoon climate is hot in summer and warm in winter. In summer, you can visit Jinxiu Valley to cool down. It is suitable for travel in all seasons.
There are scenic spots in Jinxiu Valley, such as the Sky Bridge, Good Luck Stone, Dangerous Peak, Negotiation Platform, Fanyin Spring, Pig Head Peak, Lixian Gate, Guanmiao Pavilion, Dangerous Peak, Jinsong and Imperial Stele Pavilion.
