APA Resort Joetsu Myoko

This illumination, "Apalusion," takes place in the garden on the grounds of the resort hotel "Apa Resort Joetsu Myoko" in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture. This year, the name seems to have changed to "Apa Illumination."

Myoko is close to Mt. Myoko, a popular hiking spot, and ski resorts. Every year from spring to autumn, "Apa Resort Joetsu Myoko" holds illuminations.

The vast, colorful world of illuminations that spreads out over the entire area is overwhelming and captivating.

Various shows are also held along the way.

Period: Friday, April 23, 2021 to Monday, November 15, 2021

Time: 16:00-22:00 (last entrance 21:00)

Price: 700 yen (500 yen for hotel guests), free for elementary school students and younger

Access: About 45 minutes by bus from Joetsu Myoko Station. About 15 minutes by bus from Sekiyama Station.
