Wat Sri Pho Chai Saeng Pha

Wat Si Pho Chai Saeng Pha is located in Ban Saeng Pha, Na Haeo District, Loei Province. It is an ancient temple over 400 years old, built in 2090 at the same time as the Ban Saeng Pha community. The temple's ordination hall has a distinctive architecture similar to Wat Chiang Khong in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR. Inside is the statue of Luang Pho Phet, in the Mara-Vijaya posture, Lan Xang art style. The atmosphere around the temple is quiet, suitable for making merit and taking pictures, especially in the rainy season when the fog covers the area, creating a special beauty.
